A native Michigander, musician, and pastor, Daryl pursued foreign and local missions out of his love and compassion for people. He has led over 100 mission teams in 20 different countries as well as multiple domestic locations.

Working on the streets in NYC and abroad birthed a passion in Daryl to embrace people in difficult and life-altering situations in his own city of Charlotte and the surrounding areas.  In 2011, he launched Rebuilding Paradise/Rice N Beans.

Daryl lives in Charlotte NC with his wife, Cheri. They have two children—their daughter, Kyndall, is 26 and married to Kenyon, and their son, Ky, is 19. Their two furry babies are Indiana and Laya.

Rice N Beans Charlotte provides a meal for our unsheltered neighbors every Tuesday and Wednesday evening, rain or shine!

Time: Volunteers arrive at 6:30pm
